  Back home in the south of France. The Commando went like a bomb. Not the slightest problem, did not use a drop of oil (which must be a first for a british bike) never got the tool kit out! Changing of pads improved the brake from awful to very bad, but apart from that the bike is exactly as wished. Weather coming down was real winter stuff with snow in Normandy and the centre of France, made the handling “interesting”. Many thanks for your honesty and help.”
