A Bit About Cosmo

Evan Cosmos is a fully trained and qualified Technician Engineer, specialising in motorcycle engineering with over 40 years experience on motorcycles and having a keen interest in classic machines. 

Cosmo trained at West Kent College for a BTEC National Certificate in Motor Engineering and at Merton College School of Engineering for a BTEC National Certificate in Motorcycle engineering. He also obtained numerous City & Guilds qualifications. 

Cosmo spent a number of years working for a well known Triumph and Norton dealership in South London; and has completed training at the Shenstone Norton Rotary Workshops and at the Triumph Hinkley factory. He also has great experience of other classic British motorcycles as well as other European, Japanese and American machines.  

Although specialising in classic machines he is qualified to work on modern machinery. Later he spent a number of years working for the Royal Automobile Club undertaking further specialist courses in vehicle diagnostics and repair.  

Cosmo has also served in the R.E.M.E. as a V.M. Class 1 and is able to service and repair military motorcycles old and new such as BSA B40's, Harley Davidsons and Armstrongs etc.

Personal Interests

  • Classic Sprint Racing; Cosmo has competed in the 2001 classic series achieving 2nd place in the championship campaigning a Triton T150 triple in the Open Pre 1980 class against machines including GPZ 750’s and CB 900’s.
  • Classic Racing; Cosmo has competed in the 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 CRMC classic motorcycle racing Formula 750 championship campaigning a Rob North T150V 750 triple in the against machines including Yamaha TZ 750’s.
